Le Mans Endurance Race

One of the world’s oldest car races requires more than just speed, drivers sharing the responsibility of staying alert at those deadly speeds for 24 hours. It is easy to momentarily lose control or break concentration and hundreds of lives have been lost to the race, one particular crash killing 80 spectators as well as the driver. Teams are now required to have three drivers doing shifts for each car.
