THE LONGEST TIME HOLDING BREATH UNDERWATER

A Swiss freediver, Peter Colat, held his breath for 19 minutes and 21 seconds in a water tank in February of this year. Freediving is a discipline used to assist with underwater activities where the participants wants to rely on their own breath and not an airtank. It is used in competitive and non-competitive sports and requires strict, complex training to master safely.
