Tough Mudder, the endurance phenomenon that has swept across America, will hold its first-ever international event in Australia in 2012, promising to deliver the ultimate test of physical endurance and mental toughness.
The first of two events in Australia will be held on 31 March and 1 April at Phillip Island. The second event will be held in Sydney in September. Those who think they are tough enough to meet the challenge can register now.
About Tough Mudder - SydneyTough Mudder is not your average mud run or spirit-crushing ‘endurance’ road race. Our 18 -20 km obstacle courses are designed by British Special Forces to test all around strength, stamina, mental grit, and camaraderie. Forget finish times. Simply completing a Tough Mudder is a badge of honour.
WARNING: Tough Mudder is twice as long as other mud runs and we guarantee no queues at our obstacles. On average, only 78% of participants finish the event. Only those in reasonably good shape should enter.
Sydney Location: Glenworth Valley, 1hr north of SydneyThe Sydney course will feature most (if not all) our Tri-state event in the USA, plus more crazy obstacles. We purposefully design each course to be different, utilizing local climates and terrains to build a series of events that test all-round toughness strength, fitness, mental grit and camaraderie in every environment imaginable. Tough Mudders don’t compare times, they don’t brag, they just achieve.
