The Great Diet Sham

Does "eat less, exercise more" work for you?

For years the diet industry has told us to "eat less, exercise more". And while there's no doubt that today Australians are more health conscious than ever before, obesity, diabetes and heart disease rates are soaring. So what's going on?

Gary Taubes reckons doctors, nutitionists and dietitians have got it all wrong. What do you think?

Does "eat less, exercise more" work for you?
Or is there another key to weight loss out there?

If you eat food that is healthy, and low in BAD fats and full of slow release carbohydrates you will lose weight. Yes you do also need to exercise but resting in between work outs is VITAL and not over doing it! Eating fresh salads, vegetables, nuts, grains, and drink lots of water.

It is that simple really, eat less, do more! People don't become obese from going to the gym too much or walking too often or eating healthy foods in healthy portions!!!
P.S. I said it was simple, NOT EASY!

Obesity started with technology & processed food. All 3 work together against your body. Eat processed food sit down all day = obesity. Wholesome, natural high fibre food exercise = healthy, happy bodies. It's hard work, but rewarding

High sugar products are to blame for alot, i myself have given up sugar (99.9% of the time) and feel great and have more energy to get out and exercise on a daily basis.
People do need to eat less of the wrong foods and exercise more... it helps us enjoy life!!!

Eating less does work to a degree, i would prefer to say reduce the portion sizes of your meals that way people don't skip meals.Six (6) portions per day three meals and three snacks (not junk food) the body needs to know that food is avaliable every three to four hours.(no fat storeage needed)

Its as simple as input vs output. The issue with ppl now is that although its simple its also hard work. Third component needs focus too and that's mental/emotional. People need support through emotional eating, head hunger, etc...Then they have the fortitude to eat less and work out more!

Over processed food is too accessable and easily digestable, and unlike animals we are unable to sense the wrongness of some of the foods available.

How much easier it would be if I could just send my tastebuds on strike for a few weeks!

My advice keep away from all types of salt
Especially Sea Salt!
Oh & Low food intake does work if you want to
Loose fat, high protein for muscle.
Keep your Doctors visits to only once a year,
It is impossible that a GP could know it all...
Think about it. !
