I've decided to forget winter is supposed to demotivate me!
I've changed from exericising outside in the morning (too dark and cold) to going to the gym each morning. If my energy is still going strong after work, I do a fun class at the gym. I feel good, look good and am motivated to keep going.

I't doesn't take much to keep me motivated, just having my fav jeans be a bit too tight for comfort will do it every time.i get straight on the bike and get going.

Not just winter! My all round motivator is just walking through the local shopping centre & looking at all the over weight people & saying "I will not look like that again" Also best motivator to ignore the local coffee shops for that quick pick me up cake in the afternoon.

I plan a trip to the snow. This motivates me to get my but into gear. Just think of the long days on the slopes alongside hot instructors. If it gets nippy outside when i'm out exercising i just close my eyes and imagine that i am at the top of my fav run...and make sure i have a darn good hoodie on

Last year I had flabby arms, this year I'm avoiding it by simply using Michelle's Tip: Work on all 4 - I do it every morning & whenever I feel like it - I don't mind if people see me in IT department do it though.

My winter exercising tip: don't allow yourself to make excuses. I run outdoors, and I could easily say, it's too cold and dark. But instead I bought some long sleeve climalite tops and now it's no problem. Once you get out there, it doesn't take long to heat up - you won't even notice it's winter.

Emphasize on core strength this Winter. Do more stretching exercises & weight lifting. Lift weights from 1kg-10mins, 2kgs-10mins & 3ks-5mins. That way, you can be in the comfort of your own home & yet, you're building those MUSCLES!!!

i get more active in winter...i find it a lot easier to go for a jog or walk at night in winter, cause you get warmed up and its not stifling like it is in summer.winter is the most that i am active, summer i just stick tio swimming and late night walks

make a date with yourself, or with your gym buddy. Also planning exercise at the beginning of the week and making a commitment to eg 4 sessions over the week is also good. that way you can look back on the week as a whole, rather than being disapointed if its wet or cold one day!
