Why it pays to look good at work

Mar 28 10:09am

It pays to look good at work, particularly if you're a woman.

Attractive women may earn a "beauty bonus" of five per cent on top of their normal wage, and while men at work aren't penalised for being obese, it seems women are.

Fattest professions in Australia (% overweight or obese)
1. Ministers of religion (80%)
2. Construction managers (76%)
3. Electrical engineers (73%)
4. Commissioned officers (72%)
5. Auditors (72%)

Thinnest professions in Australia (% overweight or obese)
1. Specialist doctors (25%)
2. Advanced legal clerks (29%)
3. Architects (30%)
4. Psychologists/counsellors (31%)
5. Designers (32%)

People refer to fatty food these days due to the price compared to healthy and the lack of time to prepare healthy meals!

What's so hard about buying a bunch of carrots and celery? Drizzle some balsamic dressing over them - quick snack and you'll feel a lot better :)

You are what you eat, don't forget that old adage. Stick to what has always been the healthy foods. Plenty of Fruit and Veggetables. Protein, Fish, chicken, beef. Don't forget to make sure you buy Raw milk not the processed stuff. Check this out. Mercola.com (just saved your life) ur welcome!

Where on earth is this so called "beauty bonus" information coming from? I would really like to read more about it than on e sentence followed by some irrelevant statistics...
Get your act together, WH, this is extremely poor journalism.
