Carson's fashion tips for Aussies

Ugg boots – fashion or faux pas ?
Those are great. Don’t you just feel comfy and soft?

Can people wear stripes and stripes?
Kochie, with your pinstripe suit, you could wear a paisley tie – because the scale is different.

Is pink ok?
I love pink. Pink’s a great colour on so many complexions. To not have any pink in your wardrobe would be bad.

Muffin tops – When your belly has that overspill over the top of your jeans, go up a size so you don’t have that overflow. Women are afraid to go up a size, but your size is just a number. If it fits you and looks good on you that’s what you should be wearing. So forget about your size.

If you have a hard time finding pants that are long enough?
Ther are great low rise jeans – or skirts out now that are longer lengths that are just above the knee – they’re one solid colour from top to bottom.

Are shorts ok for men?
Bermuda length are great – they stop at or above the knee.

What’s the general lesson you have for Australians?
People who are uncomfortable with their bodies, wearing something blousy or baggy makes you look bigger.

Wear something body hugging but not tight, you look much better.

Thanks for being on my show you guys

Solar power: Even with the rebate, solar panels are still too expensive for most households. Given the urgency of the problem, we need poorer households to have panels also. Best solution: a sliding means test - 100% rebate to low income households to no rebate at the other end
