Heidi Shaw from Perth topped the list of wedding nightmares we heard about.
Bad weather, broken bones, a mother-in-law having a real fit. This wedding had Heidi making a vow to expect the unexpected.
On her third wedding anniversary today, here is Heidi's story in her own words.
Three years ago we had three months to plan our wedding and we were finding venues and we found one and just prior to the wedding we had to change the venue so we had to change the invites and due to changing the invites some didn't show up at the second venue because they went to the old invite.

The day before the wedding there were thunderstorms and lightning and we were having an outdoor wedding and the day before my father-in-law broke bones in his knee and he had an infection and we were waiting to see if he could have the operation to correct his bones.
My husband wanted to cancel the wedding so I went down to the local pub to have a few beers and a little bit tender the next day. The photographer turned up at the house but got lost on the way to the wedding so we had no professional photos for the wedding so we had everyone take photos with their digital cameras.
The wedding was fine and we came to cutting the cake and afterwards my husband and I went for a walk and my mother-in-law had her first epileptic fit so the ambulance had to come. Due to clearing out the reception area, a lot of guests left and went home. From 80 guests down to 30.
My husband and I didn't get to do our wedding dance with my dad so we made off with karaoke and then after that my husband lost his wedding ring in the lake so I got the diving gear and went to look in the lake.
That was a few dramas.
Hosts: Just a few dramas! I am glad the honeymoon was good and went without a hitch.
At any time did you think it was not meant to be?
Heidi: Oh God yeah. I thought "What is going to happen next?"
You got to laugh about it. It probably made our marriage stronger when you think about it. Everyone is like "No, that didn't happen."
It obviously strengthened the relationship. It certainly couldn't get any worse after that series of incidents!
Laughter is to life what shock absorbers are to automobiles. It won't take the potholes out of the road, but it sure makes the ride smoother. - Gary, QLD
Men and housework: We had a family friend who rather than helping bring in the washing as part of the housework, took to it with the hose and when his wife came home told her he didn't bring him in because it had rained and was still wet.
