With today's segment of humans starting to make themselves more like robots, we have to ask the question why we don't just leave the metal-mickey behaviour to robots?

Precarious walking and stilted talking are never replicated well by mere mortals. You have to actually be made of metal, with trademark rusty squeaking, to be our kind of robot.
