I am getting married on the 13th dec this year, and we are getting married on an anual salvos toy run, so everyone that goes on the ride will be at our wedding, because we all ride motorbikes there is no need for special clothing, wedding cars, makeup for anyone as we all will have our leathers on.

we got married in sept this year and saved on the wedding by not going into much details like no chair covers or sashs or decorations at the reception. and just having the basic we did stubby holders as gifts but that it. you can spent heaps on the little details.

I am actually getting married on Saturday and having a $3000 budget we had to cut costs. We're having Cocktail reception in the afternoon. I brought my dress from a boutique rather than bridal store. Cupcakes wipe out cake cutting fees and are easy to DIY. Hired cars and asked friends to drive.

We got marrried in April. The ways we saved money was by:
Inviting guests to our engagement party but surprising them with a wedding. We got married on a Sunday.I bought my wedding dress off the rack for half price. We found some of our entertainment the night before while we were out having dinner.

My partner and I are getting married in july next year, and we are saving money by having an intimate cocktail reception at a little wine bar, and having our ceremony in a local park. I have also found a dress for under $400 (which is actually a bridesmaids dress!) made in ivory & champagne.

The tip is to be organised.Hav a folder with all of ideas, make a budget 4 everythin u will spend $ on & then look into doing it yourself or look @ something different(I didnt hav flowers I had a chinese fan for my bouquet). Borrow everything that you can.We had our reception @ our home too.

I got married 4 years. We had a beach wedding with approximately 40 guests. The ceremony was at 8.00am with the reception to follow, we had a champagne breakfast which cut costs. The total cost of our wedding was $3500.00. Our wedding was perfect & everyone commented on the intimacy of it!

I am getting married in January next year and my dress cost $370 including postage. I brought it through an online company. I found the dress I wanted and tried it on then found a picture and they made an almost exact copy. I asked around found a good company and have no complaints.

Kurt Fearnley: I was relief teaching in Blayney when I met Kurt as a young school boy. The first thing that struck me was his smile and contagious positive outlook at all times. I see nothing has changed with this outstanding Australian. Although I never saw him again, it is a testament to the power of his personality that I have not forgotten him more than 15 years later.
