How can there BE anyone as inspiring then my 95 year young granny Marnie. She's a charmer..making even the most MARRIED men at Killjoy Assisted living FORGET that they were EVER married. A FAB dresser..mixing daring prints with all kinds of SPOTS (coffee, chocolate) & a zest for life..24/7.

No relation to these people but coming back from the World Masters Games recently held in Sydney. Two People stand out to me. 65 Year Old Liz Randall of Victoria and the similar aged Keith Oliver who is a multi (13 times?) World Masters Champion in Cycling.

Maggie Hart is like a gran to me! She is 71 working as a personal trainer in Cammeray. Just came 4th in the 10 k run at the Masters with a broken toe! Helps out with the grandkids and helps care for an ageing (91yr old) friend. She is a dynamo, a great example that life is to lived to the last day.

My mother is grandmother to 13 grandkids, organises and takes half of them to all their sporting and schooling, is the greatest emotional and financial support for myself and my sisters and full time carer for my veteran dad.She also replaces roof tiles, set up camp sites, mowes and attends pottery

My Nan ran her own business on the 50's when women were meant to be at home in an apron, she dragged my Pop out of the pub when women were banned, worked until she was 72 even after being diagnosed and treated for ovarian cancer, forward thinking, beautiful, kind and strong...RIP Sheila Hutchins.

Kurt Fearnley: I was relief teaching in Blayney when I met Kurt as a young school boy. The first thing that struck me was his smile and contagious positive outlook at all times. I see nothing has changed with this outstanding Australian. Although I never saw him again, it is a testament to the power of his personality that I have not forgotten him more than 15 years later.
