How should Michael Jackson be remembered?

- With Michael Jackson's memorial taking place in Los Angeles this morning, a king-size spectacle watched by millions,little else is left to say.

Fans have left nearly half a million notes of condolecence at http://michaeljackson.com/ making it the world's biggest tribute site.

The main question that remains now is not the cause of the star's death but what will be Jackson's legacy?

michael should be remembered for being 1 of the best artists of alltime its just a shame that things like the child scandal ruined him.
or was it all the surgery that he had turned people off him.I also wonder how the mother of the boy that had him up for rape is feeling.

Michael should be remembered for his --music--his contribution to humanity--his warmth---his strength---his ability to inspire---etc/etc.
Michael does NOT deserve all the WRONG rumours/gossip that are being spread---AFTER his death.
PLEASE---let him REST IN "PEACE"

MJ was the ultimate performer. His had an amazing natural talent for dancing & singing and was one of a kind. He should be remembered for his massive contribution to music. Don't report all the rumours and false accusations that will turn his sad death into a circus - let him go in peace.

Michael Jackson should be remembered for his inspirational music and generosity. He was the only Icon, superstar and legend who used his talent to help and love those in need. R.I.P MJJ!

Michael Jackson should be remembered for the wonderful music he gave us that inspired everyone to take a step back and look at the terrible things we are doing to our earth and it's people. I will be forever grateful to the man who motivated me to dance and watch as he performed so effortlessly!

I am not a fan of Michael Jackson and i do love sunrise i watch every day, but it sickens me to see that you would lower yourselves to show pics of his chidren he has tried to protect from this life & Michael laying in the ambulance unconcious. Its inhumane and thats not how he should be rememdered!

I believe Michael is a reminder to all of us that we need to value the artist and not just the art. I believe he was a loving person in need of our love, however our culture failed to give him that. He created his art for us because he first loved us. We repaid him with criticism and judgement.

Kurt Fearnley: I was relief teaching in Blayney when I met Kurt as a young school boy. The first thing that struck me was his smile and contagious positive outlook at all times. I see nothing has changed with this outstanding Australian. Although I never saw him again, it is a testament to the power of his personality that I have not forgotten him more than 15 years later.
