What's your favourite film?

Jun 25 07:28am

- Today on Sunrise we meet a 71 year old cinema projectionist who names his favourite films - and he's seen a few. And he has been in the little projector's booth for 25 years!

Arthur's favourite film in recent years is Titanic. He thought the acting and the storyline were both good, and he says it ran for four months at Coolangatta cinemas, so that's got to be a mark of a good movie.

Arthur's favourite actor in recent years is Harrison Ford. Arthur particularly loved him in Raiders of the Lost Ark. How does that compare to your choices?

Tell us below what is your favourite film of all time?

Ridley Scott's "BladeRunner" is my favourite and remains the best scifi of all time - still holds its own 20 years after its release!

I can't really decide but I love these three films: 'To Kill A Mocking Bird (1962)' directed by Robert Mulligan, 'Irreversible' directed by Gaspar Noe and 'Fight Club' directed by David Fincher

I loved the movie 'Chocolat'. It has everything: Romance, French accents, a good moral, and most importantly of all, JOHNNY DEPP.

I have to wonder at Kochie's love of 'quirky Australian' films when he can't even get the title right! Kochie, the film you were talking about this morning is Hercules Returns, not Spartacus Returns...

Hercules Returns is indeed hilarious - it's a favourite of my husband as well.

Hey Kochie and Mel. Totally agree with you Kochie. Hercules returns was one of the funniest movies I've ever seen.
