One of the biggest groups of internet users to become obsessed with Facebook was Baby Boomers (roughly speaking, those aged in their fifties).
This group is said to be leaving the social networking website in droves, having tired of the time they feel they are spending on it catching up with old friends.
Sunrise has a Facebook page where the biggest group to become a fan is aged 35-44 years old. Those over 44 make up 13%.
Are you getting sick of facebook? If so, why? Tell us below...
Switched.com says that "According to data that Facebook supplies to its advertisers, the 55-to-65-year-old age group's activity has drastically declined over the past couple months (by 651,080, to be exact), making it the only demographic to experience an overall drop in numbers."
However, younger generations are bucking their parents' trend. 18-to-25-year olds are now spending more time on the site than ever. In the US, nearly 2 million new members have joined up in that age bracket since March!

Organ donation: When our beautiful 17 year old daughter died in '96 we didn't hesitate and her organs helped 6 people. I encourage everyone to do it. Great comfort knowing so many helped. J&M Tasmania

I just heard Kochie say that they are just about to change the rules for people in dire debt and that Bankruptcy is not the best option. We are just about to sign the documents to go Bankrupt, can he tell us what ? before we do that could change our minds, it is our last option.
Thanks Anon
I only started using Facebook when I became more housebound from a spinal disability. I've gone from feeling alone without joy, to having a multitude of new friends from around the world, spending time laughing. Facebook has enhanced my life.
