Sep 13 08:28pm

This week's winner of our Homecook Hero is James's Chocolate Raspberry Souffle. (see below)

Watch next Wednesday to see James make his special dish live on Sunrise.

Fancy cooking your signature dish on Sunrise?

Send us a pic of you with your signature dish here

Plenty of people have their own special recipes. You may have a recipe handed down through the generations, or your own signature dish you've perfected over the years.

This is your chance to put your creation to the test.

Send us photos of you and your special meal IN your own kitchen, along with a brief description. But don't give away any secrets just yet!

We'll put the finalists to a viewer vote, and then bring the winner to Brekky Central, to make it in front of us.

Congratulations to Melissa, our Homecook Hero winner. She cooked her Rocky Road on Sunrise this week.

Rocky Road recipe

Melissa's famous Rocky Road
Being a mum of four kids (and two with disabilities), I need to be able to make something extraordinary, quickly. This recipe has evolved over the years but is now perfect. Forget Darrell Lea, make it yourself quick and fast. My personal favourite - the crisp bite of the Macadamia. Yum....

I loved Sandi Smiths vege dish however I didn't appreciate the health advice to her right who attempted to change her signature dish. Please tell Sandi to keep up the good work and to ignore the attempted changes!!! It's her dish for a reason :)

I was fortunate enough to have sampled Trevor's easy to prepare breakfast, beginning with a dish of warmed Strawberry & Banana topped with Yoghurt and followed by his delicious grilled herb infused Tomato with Turkey and Camembert cheese on crusty Ciabatta bread - it was superb!

Kurt Fearnley: I was relief teaching in Blayney when I met Kurt as a young school boy. The first thing that struck me was his smile and contagious positive outlook at all times. I see nothing has changed with this outstanding Australian. Although I never saw him again, it is a testament to the power of his personality that I have not forgotten him more than 15 years later.
