Behind the Scenes

Koalas put on brave, wet face for bushfire photos

Feb 11 12:02pm

We just keep getting more funny - and totally adorable - Koala photos from the bushfires!

Koalas and humans are making friends.

The animals are seemingly aware that we mean no harm.

While koalas are always cute in zoos or on postcards, they can be irritable and defensive when approached in the bush. Yet more and more koalas are walking up to people in bushfire zones, seeking refreshment.

(So if you are in the bush and see a koala, make sure you have some water on hand. They seem top prefer the more expensive, bottled type of water!)

Here are all the photos Sunrise has been sent by viewers of these touching scenes.
