A young man in Sydney is posting poems around the city in a search for a woman he met on the weekend at an Irish pub, Scruffy Murphy's.
Do you think you can fall in ove instantly? Jo Lamble doesn't think so!
The poem - featured on Sunrise today
I tread amongst oblivious men as a God of War,
I can slaughter many with a sword 100 or more,
Impervious defence and unstoppable offence,
The Art of War was all that made any sense
That was until the fateful Monday night you met me,
It was apparent we were perfect and meant to be,
I still remember fine details of that magical night,
You had charm in surplus which melted this Knight
For hours I blocked the unwelcome as your shield wall,
Some TRIED to stand me over unflinching I stood tall
You are the Love Goddess which all guys would fall
I am the War God reigning over virtually all
You are the British babe that exceeds Keira Knightly
It was your staf riddled eyes which I remember most affectionately,
My heart sunk, melted and cried when you declared your Love,
Was my prayer in the Cathedral earlier answer by above?
I destroyed our night through unchivalrous jealousy,
The other was quantum leaping in minutes compared to me,
I am tormented by regret, worry and feeling very guilty,
With my grievous error I don't expect you to forgive me
You are the closest to resemble the sun God will ever let,
As you are glorious at sunrise and magnificent at sunset,
My greatest fault that I repent was that I had given to fear,
For Love has tormented me more than hold me dear
For me my darling it was a dream too good to be true,
For a goddess of Love to save me on a caliber that is you,
I shall honor the encounter at the week anniversary,
Where I met you at Uncle Murphy's as we know as scruffy
I implore to my dear lady's most magnanimous nature,
I declare I would have endured our difficult future,
In the Book of Faces among the Vatican I am their Cavalier,
My first name is my name-find me I long for you to be near...
Eternally awaiting you with indescribable Trepidation,
Your Arduous White Knight in shining armour.

Kurt Fearnley: I was relief teaching in Blayney when I met Kurt as a young school boy. The first thing that struck me was his smile and contagious positive outlook at all times. I see nothing has changed with this outstanding Australian. Although I never saw him again, it is a testament to the power of his personality that I have not forgotten him more than 15 years later.
