With the practice of sex selection banned here since 2005, Lisa and Paul Jones flew to Thailand for IVF treatment trying to balance out their family. The couple were unsuccessful - read their story in our factsheets - but they defend their decision saying they love their boys, they just desperately would like a girl.

If you simply must have a girl, think of someone else and adopt a girl. It's not easy to do, but nothing of value ever comes easily.
I have 4 very beautiful girls but would dearly love to parent a son .
How dare she compare her situation to that of infertile couples. It would be another blow if waiting lists for IVF increased due to this selfishness.
