I agree we are all ambassadors for Australia. My family and I have just spend 3months travelling around the USA and let lots of people know we really have Kangaroos close to cities (not in the main street though) and that they should visit. Nearly everyone we met expressed a desire to visit Australi

40 million on this thing please what a bunch of ego driven rubbish! The PC people will love it, the real Aussies will think it's wierd. I mean come on 40 million dollars on this glorified home movie! Give me $2000 a handi DVD cam and I'll show you Australia!

The last add to get people to come to Australia cost 85 million and it was a disaster. Now another one costing 40 million. How many more millions are they going to waste before the penny drops.Australia is so overated,it's just not like that here. The add is pure Hollywood fantasy.

I believe the add gives an unrealistic concept of Australia, it is dark and sombre certainly not warm and welcoming as I know Australia to be. I would not want to visit the Australia portrayed in this add.

Do tourists (and Australians for that matter) realise that Aboriginals make up less than 4% of the population. You can't swim in billabongs coz you'll get eaten by crocodiles!! Most of the good spots are Aboriginal reserves. Why not celebrate our multiculturalism? It's more representative!

This beautiful piece captures the mystical nature of Australia. Brilliant idea to promote a holiday as a spiritual retreat to rejuvinate the soul.

Must say more like a dark movie, time will tell, can't justify $40 million though, love how the Government can at a blink of the eye just blow $40 million, no qualms about it, really peeves me off sometimes.

yeah u think 40 million is alot for a tv. At our council some [profane] is going to use 10 thounsand to do new logos for our shire that is a waste of rate payers money. This here is going to bring tourism to aus. I work in tourism and its not cheap. bring on this ad its great i love it!!!!
