Have you ever won a competition?

Today's story on winning competitions has brought all sorts of 'compers' out of the woodwork.

Our major prize winner, told us her tips on How to win big.

Hey, even our own Samantha Armytage won a t-shirt at a Blue Light Disco.

What prizes have won and do you have any tips for others trying their luck?

Couldn't win Saturday night lotto, if I was the only one in it. Got friends that if they fell into a septic tank they'd come up clutching gold

I am registered on the Liverpool F.C web site which has millions of people all around the world on it. I recieved an email saying I had won one of the soccer players training strips (Danny Murphys)due to one of the competitions I had entered on the site. I couldnt believe it, bigger odds than Xlotto

Your home audience should know that to be a big winner in any competitions, one needs to enter 70 or more competitions daily. Those big winners have put in a great deal of time entering, it is not luck it is hard work.

Knowing my luck, the day I win a major prize like lotto....I would die of shock and I'm only 27.

I'm typing this on the $5,000 super games computer I won 18 months ago, went to the movies with my kids today with tickets I'd won, saw two movies, made a cake with the $800 Kenwood Chef I won, and took photos with the $700 Digital Camera I won too. :) All thanks to www.compingclub.com

i'm typing this on the laptop i won from that's life, while watching a dvd i won, wearing a gorgeous pearl necklace i won, while the kids are playing on their xbox360 i won..while we are waiting for the delivery of our wii..that i won..

You can't expect to win everything you enter, but if you don't enter, you CANT win. Not everyone is after big prizes. They are a bonus.

There is also another, aussiecompers so look at them as well, yes it costs, but you can get membership $20 for 3 mths. Free is not always best & they weren't the original either, should get the facts straight!

I have won many many things over time and explored many comping websites. I will add that....why would you pay for something that you can get for free or at least try for free first?
ACC I have found to be the best website and seems to have many more competitions to enter than the others.

i actually only entered 11 times by sms to win the playstation 3 package from SUNRISE!! i was so suprised (and may i say a little bit excited) when i got the phone call to say i had won. thanks guys. :)

Kurt Fearnley: I was relief teaching in Blayney when I met Kurt as a young school boy. The first thing that struck me was his smile and contagious positive outlook at all times. I see nothing has changed with this outstanding Australian. Although I never saw him again, it is a testament to the power of his personality that I have not forgotten him more than 15 years later.
