Get Smart! cast on Sunrise
Shoe-phone in hand, Carrell plays the original bumbling spy, Agent 86, opposite the capable and beautiful Anne Hathaway.
The two actors have been interviewed by Sunrise entertainment reporter James Tobin - >> click the video link above.
The two stars get on so well it assured Hathaway of the role and still surprises her.
Carrell - now racking up a list of successful comedies, including 40-year-old virgin, Little Miss Sunshine and Evan Almighty - has no doubts about Hathaway's class.
"I will toot her horn and I know that sounds weird and I would never say that in front of my wife, but yes, I will..." Carrell told James Tobin.
"Steve, you can toot my horn any time you want" Hathaway replied!
Trouncing Mike Myers' latest film, The Love Guru, at the box office, Get Smart! is a remake worth spying.
