If you really want something in your life to change, you really must get organized about it. No one I know wants to get fitter and look better for any reason other than they want to be happier.
Even if your reason is you want to be healthier – it stands to reason that a healthier you is a happier you. That’s right, happiness takes effort, and yes, in our day and time, organization, too.
So pull out a notebook, look at your calendar and let’s make some plans that will change your life and make you happier.
1. Organize your time so that everyday there is enough time (30 minutes at least) for physical exercise. You should know yourself well enough to know if you have to get it done first thing in the morning, or if later in the day is really when you’ll have the energy to exercise, whether it’s going outdoors for a walk, taking a class, getting yourself to the gym, or following a fitness DVD at home.
2. Clean out your kitchen. If it’s not healthy, get rid of it. I’m sure you know what you need to dispose of, so do it.
3. Plan your meals: look for healthy recipes, find healthy restaurants, and make time in your week for a healthy shop.
4. Make time to sit and enjoy your new delicious fare. Relax when you are eating, chew your food thoroughly and digest what this is really about.
5. Give yourself a chance to shine: don’t get on the scale every day, instead, exercise and eat right for 14 days and then check out how your clothes are fitting, how you look in the mirror and what you weigh.
6. Get enough sleep. This is the most fantastic and most under-rated fountain of youth and weight loss/fitness tool. Try getting eight hours of sleep, and you’ll see what I mean.
Happiness is the consequence of personal effort. You have to participate relentlessly in the manifestations of your own blessings.

The whole concept is good, but the closing is the best part of the entire article! I LOVE IT! (And I'm stealing the first sentence for the bottom of my email signature!)
