Mix these little lantern-shaped baubles amongst your round ones for a fresh new look on your tree.  To create an oriental feel, customise the bauble by affixing a lightweight tassle to the base, securing in place with a dab of PVC glue and pushing a dressmakers pin into the bauble.

Materials
White paint
Red paint
Green paint
Gold glitter
Glue

Instructions
Paint each side of bauble with alternating colours. When dry, add a thin strip of glue to each edge and sprinkle gold glitter over it. Leave to dry.

Silver glitter
Gold glitter
Adhesive ribbon

Instructions
1.  Paint bauble with red paint and leave to dry

2.  Paint glue on top and bottom sections of bauble and dip in silver and gold glitter alternately

3.  Cut adhesive ribbon to length and attach around centre of bauble
