Jamie Lynn Spears is Pregnant

Another Spears baby is on the way and it's not Britney's. Jamie Lynn, Britney's 16 year old litle sister says she's pregnant and that the father is her boyfriend, Casey Aldridge.

"It was a shock for both of us, so unexpected," she said. "I was in complete and total shock and so was he."

Spears is now 12 weeks and discovered she was pregnant after completing a home test. Following confirmation of her pregnancy with her doctor Jamie Lynn kept her pregnancy under wraps.

"Only one of my friends knew because I needed to work out what I would do for myself before I let anyone's opinion affect my decision. Then I told my parents and my friends. I was scared, but I had to do what was right for me," she said.

Mother Lynne Spears has had a busy year. After a year of Britney's antics her initial reaction to Jamie Lynn's news was of utter shock.

"She was very upset because it wasn't what she expected at all," Spears said. "A week after, she had time to cope with it and became very supportive."

Jamie Lynn plans to raise the baby in her home state of Louisiana "so it can have a normal family life."

it is very shocking that she is pregnant, especially after her and her family having to go threw a very tough year in 2007. i hope i get to see pictures of her soon on magezines. it is absolutly funny how briney's boys will be uncles to jamie's child before they could even start school!! Also very shocking.

thats horrible! i cant believe she is going through the path Britney went threw. she will probably start doing drugs 2! this is so hard to believe. what a lozer she probably thinks have "IT" is soo cool. well guess wht sister it isnt! she will have a lot of stress in her life and could have thoughts of suicide if she gets depressed. but i hope she dosent commit a big sin, abortion. at least should give it up for adoption. this really caught my attention.

I am shocked! I am a fan of her show, Zoey 101 and on her show, she seems like that she would not do anything like that. But, I guess they do call it acting. Jamie just seems like the kind of girl who would go her own way, and not her sister's, but I guess I was wrong. But, as long as she goes trough with it in a positive way, and keeps her hopes up, then hopefully everything goes well. Just hope the dad does not leave...We just have to wish her the best.

Um...Brit's boys will be cousins, not uncles, to her kid. They would be uncles if they were brothers to Jamie Lynn

gahh I feel so bad for her. I mean to the people below, shut up because this little girl is going through alot and will go through alot. Everyone makes mistakes and has their imperfections. She is only 16 and yess that is very young to be having a child but all you can do is pray for her. and dont judge her just b/c brittany is her sister. saying that she is going to do drugs and do this and do that is really twisted and messed up of you people. With all the money the Spears family has, no one seems to have enough money to buy brains and put themselves on the pill or some other form of contraceptive that is just as effective - - its seems as though the Spears children have had zero guidance from their parents in life.

I think it is no different to any other 16 yr old getting pregnant these days. jamie lynn is a human being just like us so i dont judge her at all. and why bring brittney into it she's not the one pregnant. leave brittney alone.

Hey. i think that cheeky_cub2008 is wrong. britney is a role model for that girl and that jamie-lynn is very unfortunite. jamie-lynn should not do things bad at her age like having a baby...............or a 19 year old boyfriend! i love that show and this is dissapointing. its all britneys fault.
