Kylie’s Secret Lover

Dec 18 01:01pm
When Kylie Minogue decided earlier this year that Olivier Martinez was never going to commit totally, her friends and family hoped she'd find someone she could start a family with.

But New Idea has learnt she's swapped saucy text messages and flirty phone calls with a fellow pop superstar who could not be less suited to that role.

Over the past month Kylie has been laying the foundations for an affair with Robbie Williams.

The British singer has been pursuing Kylie and even told friends he believes she's 'the best woman I've ever met in my life'.

One mate, who's a regular guest at Robbie's house in LA, spoke to New Idea, saying: 'Rob was talking about going back to London, and the conversation turned to who he was going to meet up with - and he said the only person he really wanted to see was Kylie.

'I didn't really know what he was talking about, but he was soon gushing about how amazing she was, how he had been texting and calling her, and that she seemed keen to be more than just friends.

'I knew he liked her a lot when the two of them recorded that song Kids together,' the pal adds, 'but I'd never realised she'd stayed in Rob's thoughts all this time.

'Usually it doesn't take him more than a shower to get over
a girl, but he looked serious about her and told me: "I think she's amazing,"' the friend says.

With their combined list of ex-lovers reading like a Who's Who of showbiz, it seems almost inevitable that Kylie and Robbie's paths would cross eventually.

But those closest to Kylie fear he's the last thing she needs.

One friend explains: 'I'd hate to see her get hurt, especially after she collapsed on stage and had to be carried off. And to be honest, Robbie Williams has got a bad reputation for being a womaniser.

'When Kylie was with Ollie, she was suspicious he was messing around behind her back,' the source says. 'Her self-confidence took a blow when he took up with that Israeli underwear model a few days after they split up.

'She needs someone who'll treat her like a princess, spoil her and realise how lucky he is, not some drink and drug addict who is looking for another notch on his bedpost,' the source adds.

But Kylie is keen on the idea of a fling with Robbie, telling one friend: 'It's my life and I'll date whoever I want!'

what a load of crap, neither of them have any talent what so ever, and what is this poor Kylie crap, after all she has been through. Millions of people have real life issues that are much worse than she will ever have to experience

Good Luck to them both if it's for real.
Robbie being an Aquarian 13th Feb 1973 and Kylie a Gemini it's a perfect match. But Aquarian men can at times be flightly, I think they are good friends only. The media in London love to exaggerate. I should know I work in a West End Musical in London.
