Toxic Mummy

Nov 13 11:56am

Alone and bitterly unhappy, Britney Spears is watching her chances of regaining primary custody of her sons evaporate before her eyes as the LA family court hears one astonishing allegation after another in her legal case.

Recently, the judge who's trying to discern whether Britney is fit to care for her children heard disturbing testimony from a court-appointed parenting coach. Then Brit's former assistant spoke out, saying that the singer 'needs mental help' and that her break-up with ex-husband Kevin Federline led to a nervous breakdown.

And a close friend shared her concerns that Britney will overdose, revealing that to get high she drinks a mixture she calls 'purple haze' - flu medication and lemonade.

But while the damning testimonies went on, Britney simply went partying. She was in a shamefully provocative mood as she hit Hollywood hotspot Les Deux wearing a pirate wench outfit described as 'so short you could see her butt every time she climbed up and down on the couch to dance'.

And couches weren't the only thing Britney danced on. She straddled Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo and gave him what her close friend, TV personality Ryan Seacrest, described as 'a lap dance'. She later dragged a bartender into the toilets and swapped clothes with her, then left the club in the 'borrowed' dress.

According to Kevin's new girlfriend Nicole Narain - famous for her sex tape with Colin Farrell - this is relatively restrained compared to her experience of meeting Britney in a public bathroom

Former Playboy Playmate Nicole says Britney behaved in a sexually suggestive manner with lip gloss and got so close to her that she felt 'very uncomfortable'. In a scathing tell-all interview with Britain's News of the World, Nicole also revealed that Britney drank vodka while breastfeeding her sons - and that Kevin is terrified that his ex-wife will try to kill their sons, Sean Preston, two, and Jayden James, one, and commit suicide.

These fears have led to Britney being limited to just two supervised visits with her kids each week, one from noon to 7pm, the other an overnight stay from noon to 10am.

In recent pictures seen exclusively in New Idea magazine, an emotional wreck, she seems unable to relate to her own children. She repeatedly picked them up then put them down, as if she had no idea what to do with them.

Her parenting coach Lisa Hacker has listed a catalogue of problems, including Britney's failure to attend three of their scheduled court-ordered meetings. And she told the judge she's outraged at the 25-year-old pop sensation's dangerously incompetent attempts at motherhood.

Lisa, who has coached some of LA's most troubled parents, says when Sean and Jayden are with their mother they have no routine.

'The environment in the house ranges from chaotic to almost sombre, with little communication at all,' Lisa says. 'During all three of my visits, Britney rarely engaged with the children in conversation or play.'

The only reassuring comment Lisa made was that Britney's shambolic attempts at parenting are not something she ‘would characterise as abusive in a traditional sense'.

After hearing Lisa's testimony the judge gave Britney a series of orders, including specific instructions to childproof her house and keep her children safe in the car. Failure to comply with the court's instructions will result in Britney losing all contact with her sons. Her drug tests must also continue.

Such drastic measures would not be uncalled for, according to former personal assistant Kalie Machado. Kalie says that after Britney and Kevin separated the singer tried desperately to win him back before sinking into manic depression.

'She wanted so badly to have the father of her babies back. When Britney thought about Kevin not wanting her, she'd just bawl,' Kalie explains. 'She'd look at Sean and Jayden and say: 'Where's your daddy? I need help'

As depression set in, Britney hung her wedding dress in her bedroom. She also kept framed photographs of Kevin and her all over the house. 'The break-up just made her crazy and depressed,' Kalie explains. Britney's only response to the concerns of the judge, her parenting coach, her former assistant and her ex-husband was to tell Ryan Seacrest on his radio show: 'I try to not let it get to me. People say what they want. It's sad how cruel our world can be.'

Her next court date is on November 26, and friends pray Britney can improve her parenting skills and clean up her life by then, or she is sure to lose her boys forever.
