Pink Sangria

Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 cup raspberry cordial
  • 1/4 cup brandy
  • 750ml bottle Rose wine, chilled
  • 4 cups lemonade, chilled
  • 2 cups frozen mixed berries
  • 1 cup small red seedless grapes
  • 1 green apple, halved, sliced
  • 1 lime, sliced
Method
1 Combine sugar and water in a small saucepan. Stir over low heat until sugar is dissolved. Bring to boil, remove from heat and set aside to cool.

2 Pour cooled sugar syrup into 2 litre (8-cup capacity) serving jug or punch bowl. Stir in cordial and brandy. Refrigerate, covered, until serving.

3 Just before serving, stir in rose wine, lemonade, mixed berries, red grapes, apple and lime.
