The cool thing about Sarah Jessica Parker is that she's a style maven who can pull off just about any look.

Just like Carrie, her character on Sex & The City, she's not afraid to push the envelope, be silly, demure or even dress down. But not everyone can carry off SJP's eclectic style.

Unless you have the skill of a top stylist and finesse of SJP, you could end up looking less like a style icon and more like you've been through your grandma's wardrobe and worn everything at once.

The trick is to choose your favorite details from SJP's look (like her belt, jewellery or brooches) and then mimic just a part of her look for the same effect.

Individuality comes from experimenting with colour, style and your body shape. Pick one colour, mine just happens to be red and build. Accessories such as hats, gloves, scarves and brooches polish off your own individual style! Don't clutter your body too much. Simplicity is the key.
