Does antiperspirant deodorant cause breast cancer?
If my grandmother had it, will I get it too?
When you think about breast cancer, do you find you have more questions than answers?
That's why the National Breast Cancer Centre has developed What every woman should know - a short video packed with evidence-based, factual information about breast cancer. Presented by Johanna Griggs, the video answers women's most frequently asked questions about the disease.

"Women hear so much about breast cancer but often it can be difficult to separate the fact from the fiction," said Dr Helen Zorbas, Director of the National Breast Cancer Centre.
"The video provides women with the facts about risk factors for breast cancer, the types of breast changes to look out for, and also dispels some of the myths and misconceptions about the disease."
Importantly, the video provides advice to women of all ages about what they can do to find breast cancer early.
"Finding breast cancer early remains the best way to ensure a long and healthy life after diagnosis," said Dr Zorbas.
The National Breast Cancer Centre is funded by the Australian Government and works with consumers, health professionals, cancer organisations, researchers and governments to improve health outcomes in breast and ovarian cancer.
