Nov 16 01:33pm
Serves
Serves 4
Ingredients
  • 4 Bake At Home dinner rolls, halved
  • 1 tablespoon light olive oil
  • 1 single chicken breast fillet, cut into small cubes
  • 2 tablespoons tomato sauce
  • 125g can creamed corn
  • 1/3 cup drained pineapple pieces
  • 1 cup grated pizza cheese
  • salad to serve
Method

1. Place rolls, cut-side up, onto an oven tray.
2. Cook in a hot oven (200C) for about 5 minutes or until golden brown.
3. Heat oil in a small frying pan. Add chicken. Cook, stirring, until browned all over and cooked through. Remove from heat and stir in tomato sauce.
4. Spread the cut-side of each roll with creamed corn. Top with chicken mixture and pineapple pieces, then sprinkle with cheese.
5. Cook for a further 5 minutes or until cheese is melted and lightly browned.
6. Serve pizza subs with salad.

Tip. For a change, sprinkle chopped cooked bacon over creamed corn instead of the cooked chicken.

O.k we get the point priyachand2. I would personally add some more veggies to this just to get the kids to eat more of it, you could hid it the sauce. But this recipe sounds good, maybe with wholemel bread rolls for added fibre?

Maybe add some diced veges as a topping to the pizza making it a healthier version but otherwise I wouldn't go so far to say its rubbish like a few ppl said...... there's a lot more rubbish out there!!!!!!!!
