Food tip of the day - Easing the pressure

Hypertension, or high blood pressure has been linked to a high dietary intake of salt. Recommendations suggest we consume a maximum of 2000mg of salt per day, which is equal to less than one teaspoon of salt.

i try not to use salt in my cooking, most evening meals i do mot use it, you find most processed foods have salt aready in them, eg frozen vegies
