Looking for a wedding day with a ‘wow' factor, something that'll make the most memorable day of your life even more romantic? Look no further than the beautiful islands of Fiji in the South Pacific.
Fiji is seductive, exotic and friendly, so it's the ideal place to seal your love and enjoy
an unforgettable honeymoon.
One of the most luxurious places to stay is the Outrigger on the Lagoon resort on Fiji's largest island, Viti Levu.
They have special wedding packages that include the use of the resort's Bure Ni Loloma, an amazing hilltop wedding chapel with sweeping views of the spectacular Coral Coast.
You really feel as though you're on top of the world - and so you should on your special day.
A wedding is all about preparation - and there's no need to get stressed out when
you're marrying here, as the fabulous and friendly team really take the pressure off you.
The staff arrange a meeting for you at the local registry office so you can file some paperwork. After that, you can simply kick back while the team arranges the marriage licence to be issued and contacts a celebrant. All you have to do is choose between
a civil or religious ceremony.

While you sip coconut cocktails around the pool or enjoy a traditional fire-walking ceremony, the team at the Outrigger are making a beautiful bouquet of local exotic flowers and a floral tiara for the bride. The groom's not forgotten - he's presented with an orchid corsage.
A must for every bride is to be prepped and primed and looking her best, and in this paradise on earth they certainly take care of you in style. Next to the wedding bure - the Fijian word for their traditional thatched huts - is the resort's luxury spa, Bebe.
The spa is utterly breathtaking - the views are uninterrupted, as they are from the wedding chapel - but here you can enjoy the most fabulously luxurious treatments that leave you feeling refreshed, relaxed and ready for your big day.
If the decadent Youth Renew Caviar facial is not for your groom, he can unwind at the driving range and hit a few balls, or maybe play tennis and bond with his future father-in-law.
Evening at this magical resort begins with butlers delivering champagne and canapes to your bure. Once these have been devoured you can choose from some excellent restaurants.
The most sensational dining experience to be had is at the Ivi restaurant. Local flavours are given a modern twist in this amazing eatery, which is one of the best restaurants in the South Pacific.
In true Fijian style, the staff here are friendly, courteous, warm and welcoming, just like the atmosphere. The lighting is low and romantic, the aromas are heady and intoxicating, and the local singer who strums his guitar and serenades you while you eat adds to the perfection of the experience.
If you're in the mood for a bit more fun, you should try one of the several bars at the resort. There's always live music and the combination of friendly staff and carefree guests make your honeymoon experience all the more special.
A great place to enjoy the wedding reception is at Kalokalo Bar, just a few steps away from the wedding bure on the hillside above the beach. The views are again simply perfect, the bar is private and it really does reinforce how this resort is one of the most romantic wedding destinations in the world.
The ceremony
Choose a civil or religious ceremony and add all the special touches you like, such as authentic Fijian wedding costumes, a four-person warrior escort for the bride,
a floral tiara or village choir. A minister or marriage celebrant is also available prior the ceremony to help you plan your vows.
The legal aspects
In Fiji, couples must register their intent to marry with a registry office. Bride and groom need original or certified copies of their birth certificates, valid passports and, if previously married, a copy of divorce papers.
