We won't bog you down with the statistics on obesity in Australia, or make you feel guilty for not walking for 30 minutes every day. But there's something simple you can do right now to help slim your waistline - consider how many kilojoules you're sipping a day. Take this quiz to find out if what you're drinking is affecting your weight. If it is, swapping a soft drink or glass of wine for water or cutting down will make a difference.

omg my boyfriend drink a bottle of soft drink a night when hes in bed and soft drink during the day and he drinks 3 jimy blacks a night. omg and he doesnt exercise. yeah he has put on weight since iv met him but his not fat yet he has a gut tho, and thats it.

They should have included things like tea, coffee & hot beverages. Ied say a lot of people drink fatty hot drinks a few times a day like lattes & cappuchinos. They would be just as bad as soft drink cause of the milk & cream in them....or even hot chocolate.

Yeah its full of sugar. If you have a juicer try combining fruit and vegetables for a healthier drink. Apple, carrot, beetroot, celery and ginger juice is very healthy and is actually quite palatable. The ginger takes the edge off the beetroot. Delicious and nutritious!
