Everyone is talking about...Britney Spears

Sep 09 05:07pm

At last things seem to be turning around for Britney.

The girl most often branded 'troubled pop princess' wowed audiences this weekend when she turned up to the MTV Video Music Awards in LA cutting a fine figure in a slinky, silver Versace dress.

Her wild tresses, micro mini and wobbly dancing had disappeared and Britney looked very much like the yummy mummy we always hoped she would be.

Following her disastrous performance at last years awards, Britney left the singing to new mum Christina Aguilera and concentrated on collecting her swag of awards, "I'm speechless. Oh, my goodness, thank you! I first want to thank God for blessing me like this and my family... my two beautiful boys for inspiring me every day" she said when presented with her award for best Female Video for Piece of Me.

With Britney headlines usually focused on Britney's troubles and questions over her parenting capabilities shadowing the star, we are glad to see she is back on track, happy and loving life.

well i hope so because she has two beautiful boys to look after and she needs to be the best mum she can and i think she can do that. She's successful, beautiful and full of fun and if she can go out partying and having fun, i think she can do that at home with her kids.

i am so happy for her! she has her whole life ahead of her and i was afraid that she was going to throw that all away and become a 'forever troubled celebrity' (eg. Amy Winehouse) Congratulations to her and for getting her life back on track, now she can she her two beautiful baby boys!

Good on her she's a real fighter. This is like a two fingers up to her critics and the media for savaging her so badly.
