Matt Damon has become a father again.

His wife Luciana gave birth to a a baby girl - her third daughter and the 'Bourne Ultimatum' star's second - his spokesperson has confirmed.

The representative said: "Matt and Lucy Damon had a baby girl named Gia Zavala on Wednesday August 20. Everyone's doing great. She is a healthy baby girl."

Matt, 37, and Luciana, 32, have been dating since 2003 and married in 2005.

They have a two-year-old daughter, Isabella, and also raise Luciana's 10-year-old daughter Alexia from a previous relationship.

In July, Matt joked about living with so many females, saying: "I'm so outnumbered down here, it's crazy."

Matt is now expected to take a career break to spend time with his new family.

He said recently: "Luciana asked me to take a break from work. She saw a pile of scripts, and when I told her they were the movies I was supposed to shoot in the fall, she asked me if I still wanted to be her husband.

"I'm taking the rest of the year off. I'm just hanging out with my family."
