He may be one of the world's best looking men, an acclaimed actor, super dad and more but there is one thing Brad Pitt is not - an Olympian!

Or is he? In actual fact Brad Pitt is a member of the Australian Olympic boxing team currently competing in Beijing.

His famous name is something the athlete has learned to live with. "Mate, I've been living with that other bloke's name for years, it doesn't worry me at all,'' he told the Herald Sun.

His mother said he found out about his famous counterpart during show and tell at school, when a child brought in a newspaper clip about the other Brad Pitt.

"He likes to be known for his talent, not his name," said his mother Leanne.

And why wouldn't he? Ranked 33rd in the World Championships in Chicago in 2007, Brad Pitt is focussing on a medal in Beijing after a training in Thailand to acclimate himself to Chinese conditions.

"I've always been Brad," he tells the Daily Telegraph. "Let him change his name."

Now they are fighting words
