Balthazar tries to save his 8 year marriage

Jul 31 10:34am

Bathazar Getty, the 'Brothers and Sisters' star - who has four children with wife Rosetta - is said to be desperate to repair the damage to his relationship caused by reports he had an affair with actress Sienna Miller. He flew into Los Angeles yesterday to be with his wife in a last ditch attempt to save his marriage.

After he and Sienna were photographed cavorting and kissing on a yacht in the Italian Riviera, Rosetta reportedly flew to Italy to confront the 33-year-old actor.

Following the incident, Balthazar released a statement confirming he and Rosetta had ended their relationship, and acknowledged the photos of him and a topless Sienna had caused "great embarrassment" to his family.

He said: "The breakdown of a marriage is a very difficult and painful experience especially when children are involved. In light of the fact that many pictures have surfaced in print and on the internet which has caused myself and my family great embarrassment, I felt it necessary to at least acknowledge publicly that yes indeed my wife and I have separated and I will not be commenting any further."

Rosetta was said to be "heartbroken" when she found out about her husband's relationship with 26-year-old Sienna.

A source said: "Balthazar was 100 per cent not separated from her when he started dating Sienna. Rosetta is heartbroken. She has an eight-month-old baby and three other kids with Balthazar."

Sad to hear a family man behave that way. Temptation is everywhere unfortunately and its a pity we always hurt the innocent "your children". We seem to be always looking for love and we forget the children. I though people get married for love or maybe just get married for the sake of it.
