Uma Thurman says she is the happiest she has been in a long time, thanks to her engagement to Elle Macpherson's ex Arpad Busson.

The 39 year old star of ‘Pulp Fiction' has been divorced twice - from actors Gary Oldman and Ethan Hawke.

She said. "Personally, things are wonderful. I'm going to have to retract my statement that I will never marry again! I'll have to eat my words - what a surprise!"

Uma also revealed she has suffered some drawbacks in her life, but added that it adds to the unpredictability of life.

She said, "You can be singing along, thinking everything is fine, then the rain clouds and the lightning can just sweep in and you can find yourself devastated. Depressed. You can make bad decisions. It can screw everything.

"But I've lived through it all - and God damn it if I haven't learnt!"

Uma has two children with ex husband Ethan Hawke- nine-year-old Maya Ray and six-year-old Levon Roan.
