For most women, watching their ex-husband and his new lover fall pregnant for the second time would be a blow to the ego - but not for actress Jennifer Aniston.
While Brad and Angelina blissfully show off their new baby bump and what will be their fifth child, Jen has managed to rise above any feelings of jealousy.
Thanks to her holistic approach to life, her friends and her fab healthy living regimen this single beauty is having the time of her life. Rather than stay indoors moping, Jen's been living life to the full in Miami, where she's currently based as she films her new movie Marley & Me. From beachside cocktails and leisurely shopping trips to girls' nights out, Jen appears never to have been happier as she approaches the big 4-0.
We take a look at how the superstar has managed to stay happy against the odds.
1. Yoga
When Jen split from Brad in 2005 she discovered yoga and, thanks to her teacher and close friend Mandy Ingber, learnt to feel happy with her life for the first time ever. She says: 'I was doing yoga with my girlfriend and we were finished and I looked over at her and said: "I'm feeling a feeling I don't know if I've ever felt before. I don't want to be anywhere other than where I am right now."'
2. Self acceptance
Having battled with low self-esteem in the past, Jen's now wiser and worries less about what other people think. 'You're damned if you're too thin and you're damned if you're too heavy,' she says. 'It's impossible to satisfy everyone. It just feels good to be healthy, and with that comes exercise and keeping yourself in shape.'
3. Astrology
As well as doing yoga together, Jen and Mandy spend a lot of time talking about astrology and the planets. 'We talk about [healing] astrologically, too. Mandy is insanely intuitive when it comes to astrology, which I love. When I say we talk during
a class, we'll talk about that kind of stuff - what's happening in the planets.'
A friend says: 'It's really helped Jen to feel there's some kind of order in the universe even when it feels like her world is falling apart. She's learnt that after all the bad times, good times will follow.'
4. Holistic medicine
Jen's reportedly a fan of Dr Sabena Toor, a pulmonary and critical care physician at LA's Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, specialising in Chinese and holistic medicine. 'She encourages you to detox and use her teas and herbal remedies,' a fellow client says.
Jen's also a regular at Brazilian chiropractor and masseur Celso. A source claims Jen was introduced to both by Courteney Cox's husband David Arquette. 'They all use Dr Toor and Celso.'
5. Perfect skin and hair
Keeping her hair and skin healthy is a mission for Jen. She uses Neutrogena bar soap and Dr Hauschka products. 'I'm addicted especially to the holistic face creams, powder and masks,' she says, adding that her skin can get 'crepey' if she doesn't drink enough water. Her hair is all down to great friend and hairstylist Chris McMillan. A source says: ‘'hris is so much more than a hairstylist to Jen.'
6. Diet
Jen's been in fabulous shape since she took control of her eating with a Zone-based diet - her meals are roughly 40 per cent green vegie carbs, 30 per cent protein and 30 per cent fat. On set in Miami she's been eating fresh fruit, salmon and steak. But she insists: 'Always cheat. You have to. At least twice a week.'
7. Friends
Jen's a huge believer in the urban family - a selection of close friends who keep her life happy and fulfilled. And while she spends a lotof time with best pal Courteney, her hubby David and daughter Coco, since being in Miami Jen's been hanging out with Eric Dane, Owen Wilson and the single girls on set too. A source says: 'Even when she was on Friends Jen made a point of going out with cast and crew without Brad. Fun friends are a priority of hers.'
8. Cardio
Despite her love of yoga, Jen still works up a sweat on the treadmill - and she's not ashamed to put the hard work in, even in a public place. She's been working out at the gym of her Miami hotel, the Mandarin Oriental, alongside other guests. 'She puts the treadmill on an incline and really goes for it,' a source says. She's also a big fan of paddle surfing, hiking and Budokon, a blend of martial arts and yoga, which she does with Courteney.
9. Dogs
Nobody makes Jen feel better than her beloved dogs Norman and Dolly, who she travels with and hates to be apart from. 'When she's home in LA her life revolves around their walks and when she's away from home they give her real comfort,' an insider says. Both dogs have been spotted on the set of her new movie and Norman even took part in a girls' night out at the Mandarin Oriental hotel.
10. Laughing
Jen makes sure she doesn't take anything too seriously and always makes time for a giggle. 'One thing that might surprise you about Jen is she's really funny,' a source says. 'Even if you're having a conversation about politics she'll manage to brighten up the moment, making fun of herself or something.'
And though diet and exercise are important, she isn't so uptight as to refuse a sweet lychee martini when she feels the urge.
