Beautylicious Blog - Get Natalie Bassingthwaighte's Look

Feb 19 05:02pm

My favourite TV show at the moment is So You Think You Can Dance.

I love everything about it - disagreeing with the judges, cheering on my favourite dancer (for the record, it's Anthony) and watching all the different styles of dance come to life on stage.

I also think Natalie Bassingthwaighte is great as the host. Here's how you can copy her makeup look without using super-expensive products and difficult techniques.

All products are from Maybelline New York.

1. Start with your regular foundation and set with Dream Matte Powder, $17.95.

2. Use Dream Mousse Concealer, $15.50, to hide any imperfections.

3. Sweep a light brown eyeshadow across your entire eyelid. We love Expert Wear Mono in Silken Taupe, $11.95.

4. Apply a lighter shadow - try Dream Mousse Eye Shadow in Vanilla Veil, $14.95 - under your brow and blend well. This will add lift to your brow and open the eye. Then add a darker shade of shadow, such as Expert Wear Mono in Creme de Cocoa, $11.95, to just above your lash line and blend from the outside corner of your eye toward your nose.

5. Line your eyes with Define-A-Line Eyeliner in Black, $14.50, and apply two coats of Define-A-Lash Mascara, $17.95.

6. On the apples of your cheeks blend a small amount of Dream Mousse Blush in Pink Frosting, $14.95. Then use the Dream Mousse Eye Shadow in Vanilla Veil, $14.95, as an illuminator on the tops of your cheekbones.

6. Finish with a slick of Shine Seduction Glossy Lipcolour in Champagne Fizz, $15.95, and you're good to go!
