Muscle Chow - Eat like a cover guy

Set the Course
I hear a lot of excuses for not eating properly. The most frequent: "I'm never home." You have clients to entertain. Your neighbors are having a barbecue. And there's never anything healthy to eat at these places. I'm not buying it. My line of work sends me on the road several times each month, often to remote locations. I know how unhealthy food tempts you outside your kitchen. Here's what I do:

1. Always Warm Up.

Depending on the prospects at the restaurant I'm going to, I eat a small snack, such as a tuna sandwich, oatmeal, or a protein shake, or even a large meal a couple of hours prior. You'll keep your blood sugar from dipping, remain relaxed, and eat moderately instead of pouncing on the bread basket.

2. Decode the menu.

Ask how dishes are made. Chicken's great, right? But chicken Parmesan is breaded and fried before it's baked. Sauces can contain more sodium than I normally eat in a week. Order the sauce on the side so you can control the amount you take in.

3. When in doubt, order a salad.

Look for salads with grilled chicken, fish, or shrimp, and vegetables. Limit the cheese, croutons, and bacon bits. I also avoid sliced meats--most are highly processed--unless there's fresh- baked turkey breast sliced off the bone. Again, have dressing on the side, and dip your fork into it every few bites.

4. Fear not the dessert tray.

Don't spoil the party--indulge with the rest of your table. I order sorbet and a cup of coffee. Let them have their double chocolate fudge cake.

Why are you reading it then sir ? Did you realy expect that with a title mentioned for the artical that it would have the subsequent subject matter. Maybe if you spent the same time educating as eating then you might grasp this.

I'm not going to buy into the argument of eating habbits, however if one is to criticise another's education or lack of, it would be wise to first check the spelling of the particular insult.

If you all want to live in denial - fine. Don't read health articles. Stay fat.

All of the advice in the article is plain old common sense.

Eating the right foods at the right time, the right amount too.
I've read that you shouldn't eat more than you can fit in your two
cupped hands at any one meal, 3 meals a day.

I do not agree eat and do what your parents do and you will
follow, do what the models do and you might stand a chance

hard work self control and sacrifice ,life is what you make it.

look !! the guys and gals that appear on the net , and in magazines with god like bodies owe this to the genetic contribution from their parents ok ! if you have two fat parents each with coke bottle shoulders then you aint gonna be no supermodel , such is life ,

Your parents are there to learn from and to try to better. If your parents are overweight look at their lifestyle and you may find the real reason for it. My father is overweight, diabetic and is lazy in the exercise department and genetically i could turn out this way if i followed his lead.
