How to manage the female mind - Flirting

Jul 14 09:00am

THE SCENE
You’re at the pub with a group of mates and your beautiful, vivacious girlfriend is all over one of your single, handsome friends. You’re clocking every raised eyebrow and coquettish giggle as you stand quietly fuming on the other side of the room.

THE DANGER
Before you march over to give your mate a backhander and your missus a serve, be aware that the exchange may be entirely innocent. Alternatively, she may be flirting because she needs reassurance.

“Many women see male attention as important for self-esteem and reinforcement of their attractiveness,” says relationships psychologist Elisabeth Shaw. “Others may flirt as a vengeful act in the relationship.”

THE GET-OUT-OF-JAIL-FREE CARD
“Ask yourself if it was it flirting per se or her lack of acknowledgment of you?” Shaw says. If it’s the former she may need to modify her behaviour, but not to the point that it suppresses her personality.

“But if you’re the jealous type, then perhaps you need to think more about what can be done to reassure yourself.”

I think that is rediculous. Talk about double standards! If I flirted with a girl in a club my girlfriend would be cut. What makes it okay for a woman to flirt with another man? Women wanted to be treated equally, men do too.

i agree with squishguy in my eyes women are equal they are a person regardless of gender, and far from being the jealous type, another take on her actions is shes a tart and should be shown the door so to speak .

More Double Standards Crap from FEMALES, If I flirted with another female I'm in the dog house for months. Yet I am to let my girlfriend flirt. what crap

Females have a affair and they expect FORGIVENESS from their Husbands,
Male has a affair and the Wife is down the Family court!

Flirtng is natural and heathy. Of course there are degrees and boundaries that must be respected. I recon flirting maintains a spark in the relationship. My wife and I tolerate good natured flirting, and this usually forms a teasing point after social gatherings.

firstly why dose she have to firt to begin with? shouldnt she be able to talk to other males without flirting? Both shold have enough trust in each other to talk to th opposite sex. Personally I'd dump her, as that behavior indcates a relationship wouldnt work.
