The look: 90's power hair. We are creating a slicked side to suggest an under cut with a cascading fall of soft, deep waved curls
How to:
1. On damp hair, apply a liberal amount of KMS California Stylefoam evenly thorough the hair and blast with a hair dryer until bone dry.
2. On the right hand side of your head, establish a low side part and clip away.
3. On the remaining hair, brush lightly and starting at the back, take a 3cm section at the nape area and use a medium sized heated curling iron and wind the hair towards the face spritzing the hair with a setting lotion like KMS California Hot Spiral Spray.
4. Continue this process on the remaining hair and be sure to direct the hair forward when you reach the front area.
5. Clip all curled hair away.
6. Mix 2/3 KMS California Flat Out Straightening Creme to 1/3 KMS California Hairstay Styling Gel and apply to the root area with a tint brush, directing the hair back towards the nape.
7. Use a Mason Pearson brush, slick the hair back tightly and secure with a silicon band.
8. Twist the ponytail, and pin it under the the curled hair so that it's concealed.
9. Release the curled hair and brush with a Mason Pearson forward direction.
10. Add height at the part line by backcombing the underneath hair.
11. Finish with KMS California Silk Sheen Gloss Spray and use hair spray to hold.
