LA Stylist Jessica Paster shares her tips, fashion picks and favourite memories. By Emma Sibbles and Lisa Marks.
LA stylist Jessica Paster, 33, has dressed celebrities for 11 years and is about to launch her own t-shirt line, Genocracy.
WHO SHE'S STYLED: Cate Blanchett, Kate Hudson, Jennifer Hudson, Jessica Simpson, Eva Longoria, Hilary Duff, Marcia Cross.
HER SIGNATURE LOOK: Sexy, edgy and classic, mixed with vintage.
ITEMS TO GET THE LOOK: Flea-market bargains mixed with designer names. Imagine a beautiful lace top with Diane von Furstenberg wide-leg white pants, a Balenciaga belt, a Dolce & Gabbana cardigan and fabulous Christian Louboutin shoes.
INSPIRATION: Old movies from the '20s to the early '80s. Sci-fi thriller Blade Runner is a favourite, but I'm also inspired by Charlie's Angels, and I love Audrey Hepburn and Grace Kelly.
STYLE TIPS: Clean out your closet – the only things you should keep for more than five years are classic pieces. Always consider your lingerie – it counts just as much as what's on the outside because when you feel sexy, you'll look it too; and spend some money! Start with the classics and invest in some great pieces.
BEST NEW TREND: Feminine silhouettes and flirty, floral prints with plenty of pleating.
MUST-HAVE ITEMS:Jeans: a great pair that makes your bottom look gorgeous, such as those by William Rast. Dress: a beautiful shift dress from Yves Saint Laurent, Gucci or Michael Kors. Shoes: black peep-toe.
TOP STYLING MOMENT: Putting Cate Blanchett into the Christian Dior by John Galliano "hummingbird" dress for the 1999 Academy Awards. The dress was so beautiful, and she looked incredible.

Useless - telling people how many people you have styled for is NOT offering styling tips to others now is it ?
