Dame Edna shows possums how to be "gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous!" with a new make-up line for M.A.C Cosmetics.



Dame Edna Everage, the violet-haired superstar housewife created by Australian comedian Barry Humphries, unveiled her collaboration with M.A.C Cosmetics in Los Angeles on Monday.

Housed in lavender-coloured packaging decorated with the Dame's signature glasses, the new collection features products like Kanga-rouge lipstick, Possum Nose Pink lipglass and What A Dame! highlight powder.

"It's lovely being a M.A.C dame," said the iconic Australian character. "I've often been asked to share my [beauty] secrets and now I have with M.A.C."

The Dame will make a personal appearance at the Sydney launch of the collection at 11am on January 16 at the M.A.C counter at the David Jones Elizabeth Street store.
