Get the catwalk look from Lee Mathews by Barney Martin for L'Oréal Professionnel.
The look: "The overall look for the show was inspired by Sidney Nolan's recent Ned Kelly exhibition," said Martin. "To compliment the designs, we created a beautiful disheveled plait with the hair loosely pinned back to create a soft look".
How to:
1. First tightly tong the hair in small sections and pin it in place.
2. Once the hair is set, back brush it section by section to create volume and texture.
3. Using your fingers pull the hair back into a low ponytail, leaving a small section of hair around the face (about 2 inches) free.
4. Reverse plait the hair in the ponytail. Then use your fingers to rough up the whole of the hair to give a disheveled look.
5. With the remaining hair in the front section pull it back and pin loosely around the top of the ponytail.
