Day 5 Look of the Day: Sarah-Jane Clarke in sass & bide
sass & bide designer Sarah-Jane Clarke was effortlessly chic in sass & bide, on the final day of RAFW

Day 5: Round-up
The last day of RAFW 2008 was a glorious one, with designer Jayson Brunsdon showing a beautiful white-and-gold-themed collection in the Rosemount Bar with its spectacular views of Sydney Harbour. Next, former Miss Universe Jennifer Hawkins popped up front row centre to watch the Mad Cortes show. Later in the day, 19 year-old Jacqui Alexander became the youngest designer ever to stage an individual collection at the fashion fest. Designer Kirrily Johnston returned after her triumphant opening show to check out Tina Kalivas in the afternoon.

Rounding out the week with a bang, Akira had the normally reserved fashion set rising to their feet in praise of his stunning, colour-saturated collection in the final show of the day. Fashionistas left on a high, ready to hit the many post-fashion week parties set to run into the weekend in a style that only they can muster...

Day 4 Look of the Day: Jennifer Hawkins
Jennifer Hawkins wears Manning Cartell at the Manning Cartell show on Day 4.

Day 4: Round-up

It seems it's no longer good enough for celebrities to simply score a front pew at RAFW. On Day 4, the finale of kaftan queen Camilla Franks' collection featured Charlotte Dawson, Annaliese Braakensiek and Laura Csortan swapping the red carpet for the runway. Former Olympian Jane Fleming also made an appearance - just two weeks away from giving birth to twins.

In another role reversal, model Jennifer Hawkins - clearly no stranger to the catwalk - acted as a spectator at the well-received Manning Cartell show. But the biggest applause of the day was reserved for sass & bide. Following up a difficult couple of years - with Heidi Middleton, one half of the dynamic duo, battling (and beating) breast cancer - they debuted their new diffusion line S&B vie to the acclaim of a star-studded crowd including hip hop artist Eve, model Miranda Kerr and actresses Pia Miranda and Gracie Otto.

Moving into the final day, RAFW is shaping up to go out with a bang. Jacqui Alexander - at 19 years old, the youngest designer to show an individual collection at Fashion Week - appears on the schedule alongside stalwart Jayson Brunsdon. The week culminates in the much-anticipated finale from Akira. Expect the A-list to put on a show and expect to see all the action right here...

Look of the Day: Pia Miranda in Sretsis
Pia Miranda looked of-the-moment chic in Sretsis, at the Rosemount Wine Bar on Day 3.

Day 3: Round-up

To keep fashionistas from flagging at the half-way mark, RAFW turned on all the tricks for Day 3. The frock fest kicked off in spectacular style with guests including Jodhi Meares soaking up crystal- clear skies and autumn sunshine. The occasion was an open-air collection showing by Bowie featuring models strutting harbourside with a stunning Opera House backdrop. The summer vibe continued inside with swimwear from Flamingo Sands before delegates went on safari at the Sretsis show, which was resplendent with graphic animal prints.

Bettina Liano eschewed the catwalk in favour of the cinema, with a screening at the Museum of Contemporary Art. Her rock 'n' roll-inspired collection attracted a suitably hip crowd, including Silverchair's Chris Joannou and model April Rose, daughter of INXS' Kirk Pengilly.

To round out the day, Easton Pearson put on a bright and colourful show, reviving energy levels in preparation for Day 4 on which the likes of Cohen et Sabine and Manning Cartell will unveil their take on summer 08/09. Don't be surprised to see the stars descend on the final show of the day – the debut of s&b vie, Sass & Bide's new diffusion line. If there are celebrities in town, you'll see them here...

Day 2 Look of the Day: Miranda Kerr in Alex Perry
Orlando's girl bloomed in a stunning black coat and dress, both by Alex Perry.

Day 2: Round-up

With RAFW in full swing on Day Two yesterday, celebrities donned their finest to rub shoulders with the fashion set in one of the most jam-packed schedules of recent years. The day saw Jessica (front) Rowe at Lisa Ho, kitted out in the designer's threads. Later in the day Australia's two most stylish Mirandas (model Kerr and actress Otto) descended on the Zimmermann show alongside Jessica Rowe, Kate Waterhouse and Charlotte Dawson.

After the sun went down, the stars came out - in every sense - for Alex Perry. Guests walked the red carpet as flashbulbs greeted Kerr, television personality Sophie Faulkner and news anchor Natarsha Belling. Perry's fellow Australia's Next Top Model judges joined the show's host Jodhi Meares front row to offer their support and to witness ANTM contestants Alexandra Girdwood and Demelza Reveley strut their stuff alongside the winner of last year's series, Alice Burdeu who opened and closed the show. Alexandra and Demelza reveal their secret behind-the-scenes diaries in an upcoming issue of In Style.

The party continued at the Rosemount Wine Bar where the glitterati kicked up their fashionable heels and workshopped what they would wear to today's coveted shows, which include Ginger & Smart, Marnie Skillings and Easton Pearson. What did they decide? We reveal all, tomorrow...

Day 1 Look of the Day: Terry Biviano in Miu Miu

Shoe queen Terry Biviano brought a splash of stunning colour to the VIP bar on Day 1, in a harlequin Miu Miu dress and Terry Biviano heels.

Day 1: Round-up

Kirrily Johnston kicked off Rosemount Australian Fashion Week with a star-studded bang. The front row at her show included Hollywood starlet Mischa Barton, incoming and outgoing David Jones faces Miranda Kerr and Megan Gale, Cashmere Mafia's Mirando Otto and Jess Origliasso, one-half of The Veronicas. Pia Miranda shone in Anna Thomas, and rapper Eve, fresh from her MTV Awards appearance, wore a floor-length Wayne Cooper dress for his show at the Overseas Passenger Terminal. A clear favourite with the celebrity turn-out, Kirrily presented her unique, floaty "Modern Nomads" collection, launching the week in pure style.
