Ok - I'll admit it, I see pictures of celebrities and get jealous. Who doesn't? I mean Charlize has the most amazing complexion and Kate Hudson has the best hair ever. But it got me thinking - how much do they actually spend on looking this good? Would they look that great if they didn't have never ending amounts of cash? My research proves a big, fat no and finally put an end to my green eyed ways.
First up we have the effervescent Ms Hudson who enjoys long walks on the beach and troubled men. At a mere 28 years of age she's done it all, from marrying a rock star to mothering one of the cutest babies in tinseltown, but the million dollar question is how much does it cost to keep her looking so gorgeous?
Kate invests in ReVive skincare, a range so advanced it's based on Nobel Prize-Winning research. It's basically a face-lift in a bottle and costs a whopping $2,000 a pop.
Remember Shannon Elizabeth, that hottie from American Pie. She swears by a procedure called diamond acupuncture, which uses $6 million diamonds and requires security guards to protect the precious gems.
At $10,000 dollars a treatment it's no wonder the star played a girl almost half her age in the movie - she must be doing something right.
And finally on our list of extravagant celebrities we have LiLo. Despite her best efforts to stay looking young (and no, rehab doesn't count) Lindsay needs a little extra help in the form of a day spa.
Forking out $10,000 a day at New York City's Cornelia Day Resort for her and her mum, Dina, they receive everything from facials to fake tans to keep them looking like a-listers.
So next time you're flicking through the pages of Famous and wishing you looked like Beyonce on the red carpet remember that she's paid a squillion dollars to look like that, and if you had that much money - you'd look even hotter.
Lots of love and lip glosses,
Yaz xx
Though saying that I wouldn't want to look like an ogre or go out with one ethier.
