This season's hottest

FAMOUS gives you all the latest beauty trends that are so hot the celebs have barely caught onto them. Here are my beauty forecasts for the coming season - with trends taken straight off the catwalk with a little help from my friends at M.A.C.

Techno-colour
It appears Debbie Harry's back in fashion cos all of a sudden whacked out brights have been landing on my desk. From hot pinks to cobalt blues, oranges and even yellow - I just can't get enough. Concentrate on wearing them on either your lips or your lids rather than both to ensure you don't look overdone. "What makes something like this new is that it's worn on such a bare face - it would look trashy if you put a luxury foundation on there first," says Terry Barber, Director of Make-up Artistry, M.A.C Cosmetics.

Futuristic
Think Lord of the Rings, Troy and The Matrix all rolled into one provocative look - with liquid liner, cats eyes and molten metal shadows. This look focuses on your lids and lets your lips go nude, a la' Amy Winehouse, who takes this look from the runway to reality. "It's just all about a very graphic black liner," says Romero Jennings, Senior Artist at M.A.C of the Anna Molinari show. So, grab your fave liquid or kohl liner and follow up with a bronze-toned metallic shadow.

Nude
The revolving door of beauty never strays far from beautiful, natural make-up, and this season's no different. Bold brows were paired with soft tones and a gentle dusting of pink on the cheeks. It's all about looking understated! Naomi Watts and besty Nicole Kidman are great advocates for this look, it helps having porcelain skin, but if not, tame redness with a green concealer and opt for a light reflecting foundation to help get you glowing.
