Paris Hilton has composed a letter to a fan from within her prison jail cell.

After receiving a letter of support, Hilton wrote back to the fan...and cable television channel E! got their hands on the reply!

It reads, in part: "I read your letter and just wanted to thank you for your kind words of love and support. The fact that you took time out of your day to write me truly means the world. Especially at such a difficult and scary time in my life.

"But I am being strong and trying to make the best out of the situation," Hilton continued. "And the letters I'm receiving really do put a smile on my face as I sit here in my cell, sad and alone. Again, thank you so much and may God bless you and your family."

With Paris staring at the walls, staring at the ceiling according to her mother and father, Paris Hilton seems to be having a tough time since having her time in jail extended after being released to serve her time via home detention, then being sent back by sentencing Judge Michael T. Sauer.

It also seems that Paris had previous dalliances with Jack Osbourne, son of Sharon and Ozzy and co-star in 'The Osbourne Family' reality show.

"Paris was always hanging around our house," Ozzy said. "I'm not sure if she was a friend of KELLY or AMY -- which one was it, Sharon?"

Sharon stuttered and stammered, then explained that "She was Jack's, erm, friend." Ozzy's looked more than a little shocked, then mugged "He didn't shag her, did he? Well done, my son!"
